Spiritueuse Double Vanille, created by Jean-Paul Guerlain and released in 2007 (also featured in the Colour Collection from 2016), is a lavish gourmand-oriental that elevates vanilla to high art. It opens with smoky incense, warm rum, pink pepper, and bright bergamot, giving a bold, enveloping introduction. The heart reveals soft florals—rose, jasmine, ylang-ylang—nestled in cedar and backed by lush vanilla and resinous benzoin.
